Gasteig

Gasteig is a large cultural center in Munich, opened in 1985. Situated within are several important cultural institutions: the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, the University of Music and Performing Arts, the adult education center and the municipal library. Gasteig is an important hub for Munich's cultural life, highly visible on the banks of the Isar. Centrally located in the heart of Munich, the  Gasteig is easy to reach by public transport or car, connecting directly from the airport or train station.

With more than 1,700 events a year, visitors can enjoy a rich and diverse program. In addition to the showcase concerts, Gasteig is also an ideal location for the conferences, congresses and exhibitions of Classical:Next.
