Vienna is definitely worth the trip! The Austrian capital is world-famous for its rich cultural heritage: whether the cathedral of St. Stephan, the old centre, Schönbrunn Palace and the Hofburg. There are countless places where history can be seen and experienced. Furthermore Vienna is a center for the enjoyment of the typical Austrian cuisine. The Viennese coffeehouse is renowned around the world and there are still plenty of traditional coffeehouses to be found in Vienna just like the traditional "Heuriger" wine taverns - you may not know: Vienna is the only metropolis in the world to maintain its own large scale wine agriculture.

But above all Vienna undoubtedly is a city of Music!
Golden Hall of the Musikverein, Vienna State Opera, Konzerthaus and many more leading venues mark the exceptional quality of concert culture in the city. And Mozart, Mahler, Haydn, Beethoven, Strauss or Schönberg are just a few names of the extraordinary line of composers that have lived and worked in Vienna until this day, accompanied by world-famous orchestras such as the Vienna Philharmonic or the Concentus Musicus.  As in the past, Vienna continues to be at the forefront of classical music. Each day thousands of music concerts are given to the  delight of some 10,000 classical music lovers from around the world.

The classical tradition of Vienna is likewise met by the contemporary sound of Vienna, the Viennese electronic music scene or the contemporary composers of classical music – the city continues to drive creativity and innovation forward to design the music of the 21st century.
