Leo de Klerk
Tonmeister, 1958 (NL). During the seventies, Leo de Klerk debuted as a pianist, composer and record producer. In 1981 he founded Bloomline Studio, a company aimed to Natural Music Recording.
At the Rotterdam Conservatory, Leo de Klerk studied composition with Theo Loevendie and Ruud Bos and piano with Rob van Kreeveld. He graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Music Recording at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague.
Leo de Klerk created music for bands, theater performance, film, orchestra and for a wide range of chamber music combinations. He was a pianist with Theatergroep Splinter, Salsa d'Amsterdam and Turquoise, amongst others.
As a record producer at Bloomline Studio, and in association with Jorn Mineur at Bloomline Coryphée, Leo de Klerk contributed to hundreds of classical music releases, from renaissance to contemporary. His work is credited with several Edisons and international awards and topped many bestsellers' charts.
Leo de Klerk has been granted several patents on the psychoacoustical optimization of sound transducers, such as DiFA and Omniwave.
