“Conicidencia” Duo had participated in relevant scenarios in the international guitar world like Brownsville International Fest, Guitars in Cuba Fest, Viña del Mar and Valparaíso, Modern School of Músic and Alhambra Academy in Chile, Tajin Summit and Festival, International Meeting in Miami, EEUU and also a no-less-important presence in most of the municipalities of their state. Likewise they has been invited to participate in radio and television programs in Veracruz, radio and television of the Veracruz University, Beethoven Radio (Chile) and Cuban Television.
Individually the members has a solid professional career that has arrived to the top academic grade been awarded individually and in the group by the National and State Fund to Culture and Arts, for developing projects of diffusion and investigation. Its program includes national premieres and arrangement of outstanding musical pieces and popular Mexican songs developed by the Duet as well as others written and dedicated to the Duo.
They had offered conferences and master classes, into the bargain of an intense didactic work making of their recitals and formal concerts an educative space to publics of all kind.
Over 600 concerts and didactic shows all over Veracruz, presentations in the most important concert rooms in national and international level, “Coincidencia” Duo has transcended Mexican borders receiving triumphs in the most relevant auditorium in countries like Cuba, Chile, United States, Venezuela, Poland, Turkey, Argentina and Spain.
Composed by the Cuban-Mexican guitar player Martha Eugenia Salado and Mexican guitarist Carlos Muñiz Díaz. Said Duet has been distinguished in three times by the National and State Fund for Culture and Arts.
Martha Eugenia Salado Mondeja
Was born in Cuba, 1973. She studied the guitar player career in the National Vocational School of Arts “Olga Alonso” and further in National Arts School in Havana reaching the grade of Guitar Professor, Instrumentalist and Practice Sets Teacher, obtains First Place in National Concourse “Amadeo Roldán” and Mention as Best Interpretation of Cuban Music.
She has taken classes with outstanding teachers like Leo Brouwer, Rey Guerra, Joaquín Clerch, Rolando Moreno, David Russel, Álvaro Pierre and Eduardo Fernández.
As part of Guitar Assemble of Havana records two compacts, make some national tours and participate in over 15 radio and television programs in Cuban Television.
In 1998 receives an scholarship to participate in the university curses “Music in Compostela”, in Spain. In that very same year she integrates “Coincidencia” Duo with Master Carlos Muñiz Díaz.
Nowadays she covers her musical activity performing as professor in Higher Music Institute in Veracruz since 2004.
Carlos Muñiz Díaz
Born Mexican, Licensed in Guitar in the Musical Conservatorium of the State of Mexico, Licensed in Wrights in the Autonomic University of the State of Mexico and Doctor in Public Wrights in the University of Veracruz (Doctoral Thesis “Music and Wrights”) obtaining Honorific Mention. He has taking improvement curses with masters Manuel Barrueco, Leo Brouwer, Oscar Giglia, Álvaro Pierri, David Russel, Juan Carlos Laguna, Gonzalo Salazar and Antonio López.
By triumphing in the National Guitar Concourse convened by Laud Players Club of Paracho, Michoacán, and by the University of Rhode Island, obtains an scholarship to study in said institute. Receives also, an Stimulus Scholarship as Executant of National Fund of Culture and Arts. He complements his formation with courses in Spain and France, and curses of improvement in Chigiana Academy in Siena, Italia and in Mozarteum in Salzburgo, Austria. Afterwards make tours by countries like Poland, Turkey, Chile, United States and Mexico.
In 1998 integrates “Coincidencia” Duo with the female guitar player Martha Eugenia Salado
