Multiple award-winning dB Productions is a Swedish high-end, full price record company established in 1989. Our catalogue covers some 200 titles. Since 2005 we release only classical and contemporary music, but previous titels also include some jazz and world music. Next to BIS Records, dB Productions is by far the most important Swedish classical record company today. In February 2019, one of our productions received the most prestiguious Swedish music prize, the Grammis Award, for the third year in a row, in the category "Classical Album of the Year". We work a lot with women composers (such as Amanda Maier, Fanny Mendelssohn, Ingeborg von Bronsart, Andrea Tarrodi), conductors (such as Joaña Carneiro, Kristiina Poska, Eva Ollikainen, Anna-Maria Helsing), and renowned soloists such as violinist Cecilia Zilliacus, pianist Bengt Forsberg, violinist Malin Broman and pianist Simon Crawford-Phillips. Our recordings cover orchestras such as the Malmö Symphony Orchestra, the Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra, Västerås Sinfonietta, and the string orchestra Musica Vitae. Our back catalogue also covers legendary archive recordings of notably pianist Hans Leygraf's interpretations of Beethoven, Brahms, Haydn and the complete Mozart sonatas.
