The Baroque Nomade in Ethiopia, on the encounter with the Azmari – a musical documentary showing an unforgettable artistic and human encounter. The occidental baroque Music melts into the magic of Azmari songs, improvisations and dances, and brings us to discover a legendary Abyssinia. An original encounter but perhaps not the first. The story of the short and remarkable idyll between Jesuits and Ethiopian artists, during the 17th century, has indeed reached us. A visionary world music experiment!
