Allison Coyne Carroll

Overseen visiting artist performances and residencies for the Middlebury College's Performing Arts Series and Mahaney Center for the Arts since 1999. Studied Music Education and French Horn at the Crane and Manhattan Schools of Music. Frequent vocal soloist with regional ensembles and record labels. Advocates regularly for the arts, and speaks on issues relating to immigration and taxation for artists from abroad.

"I am continually inspired by people coming together across many miles, disciplines, cultures, faiths and beliefs through the arts. I have a particular interest in seeing the visa and taxation process improve for international artists visiting the United States, and eliminating that obstacle to global dialogue. For me, every performance feels like world peace; achieved in 2 acts, with a 15 minute intermission."
