Classics in the Muziekpublique programme are Living Room Music, a festival of concerts performed in private houses in Brussels, and the ‘Bal des Bals’, a festival of dance music uniting the European folk and the non-European world music scenes. In 2016 they've launched the Hide & Seek Festival, a festival in some of Brussel's most surprising and emblematic locations.
At the end of 2008 Muziekpublique lauched its world music label with the release of Malick Pathe Sow's CD ‘Maayo Men’, followed by Shahkilid 'Nedaye Asemani', Blindnote 'Blindnote' Zongora (february 2011), Malick Pathe Sow & Bao Sissoko 'Aduna', Vardan Hovanissian & Emre Gültekin 'Adana', Refugees for Refugees (may 2016), Voxtra 'The Encounter of Vocal Heritage' (september 2016) and Tamala (october 2017).
