Pushkin 's tale set to music by Rimsky -Korsakov, takes a new look with the high-original tuned ensemble. The quintet is back at the Théâtre des Abbesses with this amazing new show for family audiences. Master in the art of a sublime orchestral palette through the prism of the mallet instruments, Gerard Lecointe revisits for us hearty and colorful the works of Rimsky -Korsakov while turning to the stage director Jean Lacornerie to do the same with the magical world of fairy Pushkin - a universe imagination , largely inspired by the Russian folk tradition. The illustrator Etienne Guiol joins the adventure to better illuminate the story , using a double projection animation that shapes the scene.
