- Fabienne Krause (Germany), General Manager Classical:NEXT, Piranha Arts AG
Classical:NEXT – the little sister of WOMEX – was born out of the simple idea to bring the diverse scenes of classical music together and offer them a forum to exchange and develop new ideas around classical music. That was in 2011. Since then, around 2,000 classical music professionals representing 1,000 companies from more than 40 countries have engaged with Classical:NEXT.
In this session, Fabienne Krause will explain how it became the world’s most important classical music meeting, a place to be for networking, how to develop new formats, and discuss future models at the expo, the conference and at nighttime showcase concerts.
Learn about the idea of innovation, expressed in the event’s name and evident throughout the entire project – the way Classical:NEXT has established itself as a key opportunity to promote and explore new talent, new creative ideas and future-oriented business practices.
