Stanislaw Hadyna’s 'SLASK' Song and Dance Ensemble – one of the best recognizable Polish artistic brands; a flagship and ambassador of Polish national and folk culture; established in 1953 in Poland.

The artistic level of the Ensemble results in recognition all over the world, numerous awards and honourable mentions. 'SLASK' has visited 44 countries in five continents, gave over 8 thousand concerts for over 25 million audience.

Over a hundred people Ensemble consists of a choir, ballet and orchestra. Cooperation with authorities in the field of cultural studies alongside renowned choreographers and composers gives a potential assuring accomplishment of top artistic level spectacles.

Its present repertoire incorporates 19 top artistic level programs including presentations of Polish folk, national and international songs and dances, educational concerts as well as classical music concerts and sacral music performances.

The Ensemble’s output covers also 14 albums edited in 'SLASK' Golden Collection – the great collection of national music and songs. Five of them gained a status of golden records and one platinum. For its jubilee, 'SLASK' issued a special album with the most beautiful and best hits of the 55 years – 'The Golden Hits from the Golden Collection'.

'SLASK' has frequently performed in all European capitals as well as major cities in Africa, America, Australia, Asia, China and Japan.

'SLASK' is a cultural institution with great executive capabilities.
Its Silesian Regional Educational Centre uses the Ensemble’s excellent infrastructure for implementing creative educational ventures and organising national and international projects like summer art schools, folk festivals, song and dance
performances and art workshops.

'SLASK' Ensemble is co-financed by the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
