Classical:NEXT is the place to be in our business. We had a fantastic time performing in front of a great audience, exchanging ideas with a worldwide network of inspiring professionals, from composers to promoters!

We are really thankful for the Classical:NEXT 2014 experience! A great meeting point for people from all over the world, networking possibilities, fantastic concerts and live showcases, interesting talks and ideas about the future of classical and contemporary music, and overall a positive and warm atmosphere! The Classical:NEXT Opening sets the bar for the entire event and is one of the most highly regarded and anticipated elements of our programme. Here's your chance to be involved - we are seeking a partner to curate the Opening for 2015.

With an audience comprised of engaged professionals from the classical and art music community as well as a raft of journalists from important, international media outlets, the Opening concert is an opportunity for you to draw attention to the musical movements and artists from a specific region or institution.

We'll be hosting a presentation about Classical:NEXT at our sister event WOMEX which takes place this year in Santiago de Compostela, Galicia, Spain from Wednesday, 22 – Sunday, 26 October.

Hosted by our General Manager, Fabienne Krause, the presentation is open to all WOMEX delegates and will be an opportunity to learn about Classical:NEXT's development over the course of three years; preview what's to come in 2015; and will provide a networking point for music professionals involved in classical, world, art and jazz music.

The presentation will take place on Friday, 24 October at 16:00 in Networking Room 2 at the Cidade da Cultura (the main daytime activity venue at WOMEX 14). We warmly invite all WOMEX delegates to join us!
