Berg Orchestra

BERG Orchestra = chamber orchestra with a specific mission of promoting new music and attracting new audiences to it.

The concerts mix very often music with other arts (dance, theatre, film, visual arts etc.). Performances take place both at regular concert halls as well at unusual and new spaces (old sewage plant, art cinema or modern art museum etc.). So far it has performed dozens of world premieres -commissions primarily by the very best young Czech composers - and gave even many more Czech premieres by prominent world renowned composers.

It collaborates with young soloists as well as important organizations including the National Theater in Prague.
