Semi-staged programme
Four female singers from Dialogos and six traditional Croatian singers interpret rare melodies following the liturgical celebratrions from Christmas to Easter. Together, they explore the Dalmatian musical heritage from the 10th to the 17th century. Drawn from rare Latin manuscripts and traditional songs, the selection reveals the depth and richness of this musical culture where Byzantine, Roman Catholic, Slavic and more ancient traditions meet and intermingle. The recording of this programme won a « Diapason d’or » in June 2016.
