To do a concert with a baritone saxophone only, why not? Nowadays, it is possible with the electronics and including other scenic arts, too.

"The impeccable technique and malleability of baritone saxophonist Joan Martí-Frasquier put the touch of excellence" (Revista Musical Catalana, December 2013)

I consider myself a dynamic musician. I feel most involved in today’s music and I am always open to new artistic experiences

I premiered several works for baritone saxophone by some composers such as Joan Bagés, José Luis Campana, Sergio Fidemraizer, Timothy Harenda and Enric Riu.

I have got started interdisciplinary projects including outstanding works from its repertoire, as COLOURS (contemporary music and visual arts), MADE IN BCN and others.

I recorded three albums with SAX 3+1 saxophone quartet and collaborated with different sorts of musicians. Furthermore, I issued my first solo album Believer in Spring 2015.

My intense activity has taken me to different festivals and events in several countries such as Brasil (Festival Rc4, Rio de Janeiro), Estonia (Tallinn Music Week), Austria (Classical:NEXT, Vienna), Spain and France.
