"Músiques Elèctriques" (Electric Music) starts with a work for clarinet by Hèctor Parra. As the different CD works are going on (works by Carlos de Castellarnau, Joan Bagés, Panyiotis Kokoras, Octavi Rumbau and Pablo Fredes), the use of electricity increases and becomes more obvious and noticeable. This CD shows an electric route from a solo acoustic work up to a purely electronic work, without acoustic instruments. Two poles apart, two listening tensions, from the acoustic sound to the loudspeaker’s one.
