Founded in 1994, Musica Baltica is the only publishing company in Latvia dedicated exclusively to publishing music and music collections, educational materials and books on musical subjects.
Many Latvian composers (Eriks Esenvalds, Rihards Dubra, Arturs Maskats, Andris Dzenitis, Ugis Praulins, Peteris Plakidis, Selga Mence and others) have chosen to work together with Musica Baltica in order to publish and promote their works. In collaboration with Latvian National Culture Centre Musica Baltica prepares and publishes all the musical materials for the Latvian Song and Dance Festivals. which took place in summer 2013.
Musica Baltica has also frequently collaborated with the Latvian Culture Capital Foundation on projects of cultural significance for Latvian musical life.
Works published by Musica Baltica are exclusively distributed worldwide by Edition Peters Group.
