classYcal explores new ways in classical music and started its pilot season 12/13 with a classical in club format, the Ynight, in Zurich.
Ynight - Classical in Club
with artists such as Andreas Scholl, Vilde Frang, David Orlowsky, Julien Quentin, Tamar Halperin. An open format with possibility to open source franchise in different settings and places. Tagesanzeiger Zürich: "Exactly what was missing in the Swiss concert landscape."
Focus on genre-bending new music including indie rock, electronics, folk a.o.
Focus on inclusion of new technologies, visualizations and audience participation.
