Opera Fuoco is David Stern's opera company in France
American conductor David Stern created Opera Fuoco in 2003 first as a period instrument orchestra and since 2008 as an opera company when he created the young singers program. David Stern made the choice to follow up and work with young professional singers for a 3 year program to help then get into the professional musical stages. Opera Fuoco's studio is actually programing its 4th generation and has, in the past, helped the development of the career of fine singers as Sarah Herschkowitz, Chantal Santon, Natalie Perez, Lea Desandre and Vanina Santoni. All of them now having a full international career and prizes.
Opera Fuoco's performs regularly in Shanghai, Magdeburg, Paris and very recently in Bonn's Beethovenfest. In the future, Opera Fuoco will perform Bach's B Minor Mass in Shanghai, Paris (Philharmonie) and the closing concert of Leipzig Bachfest.
