Chaired by Ruth Jakobi (Germany), secretary general, European Music Council
The first part of the session will allow participants to explore tools for sustainable development within the music sector that have been developed through the SHIFT project. Climate action, gender and power relations as well as inclusion will be in the focus. Concrete measures how to implement change can be tested in an interactive way (eg. ‘fish bowl’).
The second part will provide information on Music Aire, a EU-funded project that allows the EMC and its partner Inova+ to redistribute EU funding in small grants to the sector. First projects will have been selected that will serve as examples and a new rounds of calls is expected for autumn 2022.
