NEW DATES for Classical:NEXT 2020

At the end of August 2019, the Eurovision Song Contest announced the 2020 event will take place in Rotterdam on the 12, 14 & 16 May in Rotterdam - coinciding with the original dates of the ninth edition of Classical:NEXT. Given the large influx of people Rotterdam will face during these dates and the many capacities the Eurovision Song Contest requires, accommodation will be limited and considerably more expensive for the duration of the event.

For the benefit of the Classical:NEXT community and its international delegates, Classical:NEXT 2020 will now take place on the following dates:

18 - 21 May 2020
De Doelen Concert Hall
Rotterdam, The Netherlands

Thanks to Classical:NEXT's local partner de Doelen, who did the utmost to find new dates in their venue and sufficient hotel contingents, Classical:NEXT is happy to announce that the ninth edition will still be held at De Doelen Concert Hall in Rotterdam, only a few days later than originally planned. Taking place the week immediately following the Eurovision Song Contest, Classical:NEXT 2020 will be held from Monday to Thursday, complete with a newly developed programme schedule, exciting new formats and different event hours.
