Hugh Gregory Waldock started off his musical career as a church chorister in The Boys Choir of Widford Lodge Chelmsford and Ipswich School Chapel Choir. At first, he didn’t seem a likely professional, but he won the singing cup, junior piano prize and the Rowley Ellison prize for literary performance. These got him off the blocks with a BBC Recording for Ralph Allwood MBE in 1995. After many ups and downs Hugh is now studying music tech at HOFA in Mannheim. He has done chorus for many renowned conductors like Ben Parry and has worked as a pro singer in Germany and been reviewed in the Wuppertal Times. He sees his own future in composing and is a member of the progressive ClassicalNEXT conferencing, and online community for classical music in Rotterdam, Holland.
